Absence at Example organisation, a healthcare organisation with around 2,400 employees at three locations, has been rising for several quarters. The team of four case managers is one colleague short due to long-term absence and the caseload is growing.
A growing share of the cases concerns mental health absence, a reorganisation is under way, and the organisation wants to set up a new way of working at the second location. The situation is therefore broader than an empty seat in the team.
There are two concrete needs:
- –Continuity and experience in The Hague: a senior case manager who gets up to speed quickly and has experience with mental health absence and reorganisations, 24 to 32 hours a week, four to six months.
- –A new way of working at the second location: a case manager who helps set up a pilot close to operations and brings structure.
Both within a rate band of € 80 to € 100 per hour. Availability is a condition, but the question is who fits this situation.
We spoke personally with each professional about this assignment, and looked at experience with mental health absence and reorganisations, setting up a new way of working, working style and firm availability. Three professionals remained; for each one you can read why the profile fits and where the points of attention lie.
